PLACING OF ORDERS

All prices include Value-Added Tax
- All prices exclude Delivery Fees
- Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received
- All product images are as true as printing process allows
- Featured accessories are not included
CONFIRMATION OF ORDERS

Once an order has been submitted, Compact Living will confirm receipt of the order and the amount payable by the customer by issuing an pro forma invoice
- Customers are requested to check that all items on their pro forma invoice are in accordance with their order
- Notwithstanding all other conditions of sale, the customer must specifically verify the furniture colour and handle option
- Receipt of payment constitutes agreement of Compact Living Terms & Conditions of Sale and verification that the order is correct
- Customers are to allow a 4 - 6 week delivery period after date of receipt of payment by Compact Living
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Any confirmation of an order or item thereof by receipt of payment may be cancelled within 72 hours. A refund will be made to the customer subject to a handling fee of 10%
- Thereafter any cancellations are non-refundable
- Compact Living shall not be liable in the event that it is unable to perform any obligations due to any circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to any default or delay as a result of the non-performance of any third party
RETURNING OF GOODS

Compact Living undertakes to deliver goods without any defects. If goods are subject to defects, goods will be replaced without any cost to the customer. These defects will be evaluated and interpreted by Compact Living on the basis of normative manufacturing processes.
- Defects include clearly patent damage or items not operating in the manner that they were designed to operate.
- Defects do not include excessive wood grain variations, natural markings in the timber such as knots or natural ageing of timber.
- Any defects must be reported to Compact Living within 24 hours of receipt of goods
- Likewise, any shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
- Goods damaged by the customer may not be returned.
- Goods may not be returned / refunded after 7 days of taking possession thereof
DELIVERY

Delivery fees will be charged based on location
- Goods will only be dispatched for delivery once full delivery fees have been collected.
- Delivery constitutes delivery of goods to the customers front door or entrance foyer in the event of a multi storey building. The onus is on the customer to indicate any difficulty that may arise from delivery including any difficult access to the premises. In such instances Compact Living may choose to absolve itself from its obligation of delivery and pass this on to the customer or charge an extra delivery fee. Such instances do not constitute a breach of this contract and will not invalidate the sale.
- Delivery does not constitute delivery to a specific area or room of the premises. If the customer requests this, then the purchaser is to facilitate supervision thereof and liability of any damages to the goods or premises as a result of this additional service passes to the customer.
- The customer shall have no claim against Compact Living in respect of any damages or losses of whatsoever nature which the customer may sustain, suffer or incur by reason of or arising from the sale of goods by Compact Living to the customer.
